102 Year Old Women Aces Golf Hole

Let's see if Tiger Woods can beat this California lady when he turns 103!!

102 year old Elsie McLean of Chico became the oldest golfer ever to make a hole-in-one on a regulation golf course when she aced the par-3 100 yard fourth hole at Bidwell Park.

Elise thought she had lost her ball after she teed-off because she and her golfing partners could not see were the ball landed. The design of the par-3 fourth hole has a sloping green, and because of this, nobody knew the ball had actually gone into the cup.

While searching for her ball, Elise's friends, Elizabeth Rake and Kathy Crowder, decided to check the cup just on the off-chance the ball had happened to go into the cup. And sure enough, this is were Elsie's friends found her ball.

This was Elsie's first career hole-in-one, and she could not believe it when Elizabeth and Kathy told her were they found her ball.

Ms.McLean used a driver while teeing off on this 100 yard hole.

Elsie now becomes the oldest person in the golfing records books to record a hole-in-one. Harold Stilson was 101 years old when he recorded his hole-in-one at Deerfield Country Club in Florida.

Ms.McLean has been featured in golf magazines before, and now she will be making an appearance on the April 24th airing of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" to mark this special accomplishment.

"For an old lady," she said, "I still hit the ball pretty good."

So for you golf duffers out there like me, it looks like there may still be hope for us to one day record that elusive hole-in-one.
