The wait is finally over for Apple TV.
Apple announced on Wednesday that the wait is over for their wireless TV set-box. The cost of this TV box will be $299, and for your $299 you will be able to stream iTunes videos,podcast, and music from your computer to your TV.
The latest electronics product from Apple is anticipated to be highly competitive in the growing crop of offerings that deliver Internet-based videos to the television.
This newest development from Apple will have some limitations. For example, this new box will only work with the newer TV's that accept new components or HDMI cables. In addition, you will not be able to access the popular YouTube videos or other online videos services that compete with iTunes.
Even though this box will have a 40GB hard drive, you will not be able to record live TV which means you will still need your TiVo or DVR cable box.
So if you want Apple TV, upgrade your old TV,sign-up with iTunes, and put down that $299.
